The Hollow was born from a minor need that grew into a hobby. That hobby grew into a following, the following has grown into a stand-alone business providing top quality service for the most basic, yet most important, of skating needs…your edges!  The Hollow owner, Gabe Stott, began sharpening skates in 2014 as hockey began to take over as the most common family activity. With multiple skaters in the family, getting skates sharpened soon became an inconvenient chore taking time to get to the local shops or, at the time, finding somebody available at the rinks. With an opportunity to solve the convenience issue, Gabe purchased his first machine and the early makings of The Hollow was born. Since then, his knowledge of how skate blades function grew, capabilities grew, and most of all, enjoyment grew, as he started to teach people about how their edges can, and will, affect their skating…he began to “Edge-ucate”!
